I’m off to Las Vegas early Tuesday morning to attend the premeir learning experience (see: http://www.connectionsconvention.org for more info) for people involved in the cleaning and restoration industry. Every year in September (this year 9/9 thru 9/11) our industry gets together in sunny Las Vegas to explore the new equipment and techniques to safely clean and restore flood and fire damaged homes and buildings, mold abatement and cleaning of textiles. I’ll be paying particular attention to some new equipment involving the cleaning and quick drying of Oriental and specilty hand knotted rugs.
Getting a rug wet is easy-drying it fast is the challenge!
I’m also planning to return with some new detergents for urine/vomit removal and equipment for specialty spot/stain removal-think KOOL-AID drinks and red wine!
